The origin of these Afghan coats comes from the traditional overcoat worn by the Afghan tribe known as the Pashtuns. By the mid-1960s, Afghan coats were Afghanistan’s biggest fashion export. These beautiful coats were loved and cherished by The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, the Rolling Stones and were frequently featured on the pages of Vogue.
And now after more than 60 years they are still incredible, unique and high quality statement pieces that are made to last. These vintage coats are becoming more rare by day so with a coat like this you own a true piece of history.
